As part of the Diablo Peak project, the Santa Barbara Amateur Radio Club operates a web cam at Diablo Peak, located 2474ft AMSL on Santa Cruz Island, off the coast of Santa Barbara, California. The camera is an Axis 213 PTZ pan-tilt-zoom camera with a resolution of 704x480 pixels. Previous to Dec 18th we had a Panasonic HCM-230 outdoor pan-tilt camera with a resolution of 640x480 pixels. The images on this page were captured at the peak and transmitted to the mainland over two 26 mile and 32 mile links using 802.11g WiFi technology. Images are captured and transmitted every 10 minutes during daytime. enjoy!
